The enlarged images of the “V” and upside down “A” clearly show a difference in the legend. Below are images from two 1654 silver crowns which are considered to be much rarer. Do we see the same characteristic on crowns of this date or is this phenomenon a characteristic of the reverse die or how these coins were struck in production and in fact there never was an upside down “A”?
